There’s no perfect way to wear a Hat …and other style stories
that prove you’re a master of your own unique style
Style, whether we nurture it or ignore it completely, is a manifestation of self-awareness, attitude, confidence, clothes and personality. How we perceive ourselves is often revealed in outward appearance.
@iconaccidental: She is a law professor and an Instagram influencer. Her style has an architectural vibe. Very contemporary but decidedly edgy. Pieces that are classic but NOT ordinary. She elevates her jeans with sharp blazers, funky loafers, and great handbags. And she can also rock biker boots and leather jackets. Her ‘sunnies’ are her iconic accessory.
@artfulcitystyle: Either her closet is the size of an airplane hangar or she knows how to work the pieces she has so we think we never see them twice. I suspect it’s some of both! Pink boots! YES! And many other colors in her shoe wardrobe! She whirls around NYC like she owns the streets (she does)! Look for bold prints, unusual styles and BOLD jewelry to covet and drool over.
@birabiro: Busy NY attorney, mother, jewelry designer, and style icon. When you love something, tulle skirts, for instance, you either buy them and let them sit in your closet or you find a way to make them a staple. She does them on a regular basis with denim, flannel, sweatshirts, and sneakers. There are prints, stripes, color and masses of jewelry. But her best accessory is JOY - you can see it in her posts.
@dianagabrielnyc: The hats. The glasses. The jewels. I want. I want. I want! One of my favorite NY poster girls for daring style. You know how some women say, “Oh, I love that, but I could never wear it!” A SAD statement to be sure! You can look at Diana’s page and hear her say, “life’s too short to let a fabulous hat sit unworn in your closet.”
@women.60.plus: Susie Lang is a photographer who often turns her lens on beautiful older women. So her page is alive with the stylish energy of many beautiful extraordinary women over 60 who are active in business, arts, and activism. They all have one thing in common, they embrace their age and go out and make a difference in their worlds.
