The focal piece is a North African Salhat amulet. When worn as a cosmic charm, it was and is traditionally believed to ward off misfortune and draw positive fortune toward the wearer. Many have also read its form as a stylized birth or womb motif, designed to protect the “fruit of life” and symbolize fertility, protection, and continuity.

The piece is made of polymer clay mixed with a variety of paints, powder, and add-ins. It Is one-of-a-kind.
